Who we are
MSSDAR Events Plus website, https://eventsplus.mssdar.org/ is maintained by The Missouri State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (MSSDAR), a non-profit 501(c)(3), non-political, patriotic women’s volunteer organization. The MSSDAR State Headquarters is located at 821 Main Street, Boonville, Missouri 85233.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Information collected on this MSSDAR Plus website may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, medical/emergency contact information (Bluebird Trip). This information is collected and used by the MSSDAR State Treasurer solely for accounting and financial purposes. If applicable, the information is also used by MSSDAR Event Coordinators for the sole use of planning state-approved activities and events, i.e., venue setup, seating assignments, meal tickets, registration lists, attendee headcounts, event preparedness, and sales management, transportation and lodging as required. This information is not shared, sold, or provided to individuals or parties outside of this organization for any reason.
Media and Documents
For certain event registrations (Bluebird Trip) you may be requested to complete and upload certain documents which may contain personal data, or provide proof of identity (drivers licence, photo id, or passport) for the sole purpose of making ground travel, flight reservations, hotel accomodations, or entry into government buildings for tours by the event coordinator. These files will be uploaded on a secured and encrypted site and only accesscible to the event coordinators.
Contact Forms
Information collected by Contact Forms submissions may include your name, email address, and phone number. This inforamation is requested for member inquiry purposes only. The information submitted is only kept until the inquiry is closed and will not be used for marketing purposes.
Who we share your data with
MSSDAR uses two event registration platforms for event registration and sales of merchandise; RegFox and Zeffy. Information provided to MSSDAR from these event platforms is not used outside of MSSDAR for any reason.
RegFox is a secure registration platform used by MSSDAR for registration and the collection of payments. RegFox software is safe and secure, using the latest security and encryption technologies. Its software is protected by military-grade encryption – the same level of encryption used by major banks. All transactions are processed, transmitted, and stored securely on a PCI-compliant network where all your data is securely encrypted several times within its secure data center located in Las Vegas, Nevada – an SSAE-16 certified location. Its PCI Compliance is certified through ControlScan, and PDF certification can be provided upon request. Our server and software are equipped with industry-leading techniques to detect, block, and diffuse attempts by spammers, hackers, and bots to interfere with our system.
Zeffy: All transactions are processed securely through Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted payment infrastructure providers.
How long we retain your data
Member registration and purchase data collected or processed by this website is retained per MSSDARs accounting and audit proceedures. This information collected and retained is not shared, sold, or provided to individuals or parties outside of this organization for any reason.
